“ Walked in here on a Tuesday night, had to wait 30 mins for a table. The staff were very friendly and even recommended their favourites. Returning for dinner on a Monday evening with friends, I was once again reminded of the restaurant's ability to deliver bold flavours and a memorable dining experience. We started with the tantalising green pepper chicken and devilled paneer, both excellent small bites that set the stage for the feast to come. The kari dishes were the stars of the show; the chicken, black pork, and aubergine were all cooked to perfection, each boasting a unique and deeply satisfying flavour profile with a delightful kick of heat. The chilli cheese dosa was a welcome addition, and the roti and basmati rice provided the perfect accompaniments. A side of raita was essential for cooling down the palate. The wine selection complemented the spicy dishes beautifully, and the overall value for money was exceptional, with the bill coming to a very reasonable 50 per person for a generous spread of high-quality food. Service was generally quick and friendly, although the repeated reminders of our 8pm table deadline were a slight annoyance. While we understood the time constraint, having initially informed them of our train schedules, the constant reminders were unnecessary and detracted slightly from the relaxed atmosphere. It is also worth mentioning that a couple of my friends were a few minutes late for our 6.15pm booking, however, we ordered quickly and were finished with ample time. Despite this minor hiccup, Hoppers remains a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in London. The delicious food, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent value make it a must-visit. We will undoubtedly be returning. ”

Delicious . My favourite dish was the lamb shank biryani . It was large portion. The hoppers were one of a kind. The starter of calamari was just perfect. Overall the ambience was fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting. Friends family or even by your self. Also the fork was perfect size. So extra points for that. ”
